How to Install Steam?

Through Official Website

Go to the official Website and Download the Steam Deb Package.
It’s Quite Easy and Simple 🙂

Through Terminal

Download the Package

wget http://repo.steampowered.com/steam/archive/precise/steam_latest.deb

Install the Package

sudo apt-get install gdebi
sudo gdebi steam_latest.deb

What about those games which are not Available in Steam

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install playonlinux

For the Bionic version

Type the following commands:

wget -q "http://deb.playonlinux.com/public.gpg" -O- | sudo apt-key add -
sudo wget http://deb.playonlinux.com/playonlinux_bionic.list -O /etc/apt/sources.list.d/playonlinux.list
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install playonlinux

For the Xenial version

Type the following commands:

wget -q "http://deb.playonlinux.com/public.gpg" -O- | sudo apt-key add -
sudo wget http://deb.playonlinux.com/playonlinux_xenial.list -O /etc/apt/sources.list.d/playonlinux.list

apt-get update

With the Jessie repository

Type the following commands:

apt-get update
apt-get install playonlinux
